Like12 (Eva)
It was so long ago,
hadn't been online long
and went into pogo.com.
The first time into Ali
Baba, Oldies but
Goodies, I met Hawaii2,
(Linda), and also
Angelface (Rose), of
course there were more
that day but I
remembered them
especially as they
started to email me.
Within a couple of days,
I ended up back there
and it was my place to
go as soon as I got on
line, I met Like12 that
next time and she become
a great friend right
away. There were quite a
few of us that played
every night and the fun
we had. I would start
naming names but I
wouldn't want to miss
anyone as each person
was special.
Like12 was always there
for everyone, she was a
delight to know and play
with. One time I
remember, she emailed me
privately and was all
upset, she had a virus!
Well I told her not to
worry we would get rid
of it. We are all
learners and probably
mostly self taught with
help from friends. I
went right to Symantec
and got the tool to
remove it for her. She
was upset as she was
afraid that she just
might send it to one of
her friends. Her friends
were important to her
and she sure was
important to us. She got
rid of the virus and
laughed about it later.
Through the years, as it
has been years, we all
have kept in touch,
meeting in other games,
email, etc. Like12,
actually sent me a lot
of the pictures of the
group. Mrs. Ruse and Haw
also have kept me up to
date always. When I
think of Like12, I think
of each and every person
as we all got along so
well.
One day I was in a game
and Hoof was there and
he told me about a
reunion for Oldies but
Goodies, and when it
was. I am so glad that
he did because it was
the last time I played
with Like12 and she was
just as much fun as
always.
You see, I have her on
my friends list and she
will remain there too as
I get great pleasure of
checking my friends list
and knowing that she is
now safe at home with
our Lord.
She will be watching
over us and always with
us as we have fun in
Oldies but Goodies as
she is one of the
original members and
will always hold a
special place in our
hearts.
