Hello I'm Sandy. First off I'm a very Proud Canadian and love bears !
My home is surrounded by Teddy Bears. They were mostly all bought for me by my sister Linda.

 She is very special to me.  In July I will be turning sixty years old! Wow still feel like a kid at times but, the body says you're going to be sixty.

I have four brothers and one sister in my first family. My Mom left my Dad when I was only twelve and took my youngest brother with her. That left my dad and five kids. He did the best job he knew how to raise us. He was a very strict Dad and there were times I wished I was not there but, I loved my brothers and sisters and I was the oldest and couldn't leave them. I guess to due my home life I matured quickly and married young with a child coming. Katherine was born five and a half months later. Donald followed thirteen months later , that was the end of my child bearing years. My husband and I were just to young when we got married. We both came from backgrounds that were troubled. We stayed together for twelve years after we married but separated in 1972. I was in a very abusive relationship for the next eight years after that. When I got out of that relationship, I promised myself I'd never get into an abusive relationship again and I haven't.

Katherine went on to have two children Katie and Jonathan. She never married the father though.

 Donald married Lynette ( she is my precious Daughter-In Law) and they had two boys Lee and Darren.

I have a fantastic guy in my life (Garry) he has been there for me for about twenty years off and on.

 The offs were my fault not his. He just waited for me and is so very special to me!

I plan to spend the rest of my life with him. It just took me a long time to smarten up. LOL

 A very special friend (Mayflower) and me decided to make web site for me.
